My expierience mirrors that of other reviewers, the cable works at least, but the end that plugs into the iPad fell apart the second time I used it. I was using an aviation app and it happened during the flight. The plastic surrounding the plug seems to have just been snapped together. If you find all the pieces, you can do surgery on it. This cable is not as shown in the picture. It only has the standard 3 contacts (it's missing the iPhone microphone contact). Most importantly, the plug sheath is too wide to fit into the iPhone 4 jack through the bumper case. It's not much money, but I'm returning it on principle.
