How do you sync new songs on iTunes without it replacing the other songs on your 13 in 13 in macbook casebook case?

Okay, so i downloaded iTunes on one of my computers, and it worked just fine. Then we got rid of that computer, and we got another. So i downloaded iTunes on my other computer. When the downloading was complete i plugged in my 13 in 13 in macbook casebook case touch and started buying new songs. When i pressed sync, it said either you could replace the old songs on your 13 in 13 in macbook casebook case, or you wouldn;t be able to sync your new songs. I was wanting to know if I could just pay the money for the edge plan, without having to buy the phone plan also. So I would have just internet on my iphone and no phone.
