Physical access is physical access. Just set up a EFI/BIOS password if you want false security. If your concerned about your noisy friend with another 4th generation ipod touch screen protector and firewire/thunderbolt-cable. Or whatever. If you like to protect your data, then encryption is not really enough either, but it helps. It does protect against someone stealing your shut down computer. If you have it on, they encryption key is in memory however. When you have physical access it doesn't really matter what the firmware tries t
I bought this as a gift for my mom. I was AMAZED by the sound quality! I purchased a similar product for myself that was $20 cheaper.
I have an iBook that's well over 5 years old (G3, 900Mhz) that's still going strong with its LCD, so this FUD about LCDs only lasting 3 years is just that: FUD.As for cooling, the average operating temperature of my Core2Duo aluminum i4th generation ipod touch screen protector Extreme 2.8Ghz (purchased when first announced in Aug of '07) runs between 45-55 degrees C with the fan almost completely inaudible most of the time. Pros: Great sound, compact, loud, can work off of batteries, works with iPhone 4.Cons: Only works on naked iPhone 4 or thin cases (assumed)Summary: In my house we have 2 iPhone 4s, one with a bumper, the other with a Kate Spade case. Neither docked to this and worked effectively. Bought a short extension cord, easy solution. Don't really know why these dont come with that or they don't take cases into account.
mmm.i dont like the sound of these. Although they are very cheap, they have a very brittle hi end in my opinion. I would only bother with these for classical /ambient.
I was very pleased with my purchase and the excellent customer service provided after I mentioned that there was a defect in the first case I purchased. With no questions asked they sent me another case right away....Thank You!
as far as power adapter design can go, this thing is pretty nice. Slim, streamlined shape means it will fit in that gap behind your desk etc and is great if you tend to take your charger on the move for emergencies.ALTHOUGH, coming from someone who has unfortunately lost the charger that came with my phone I'm having to look at unofficial (and of of much lower build quality) iphone chargers as I simply cannot afford the £15 cable + £22 plug. Apple are really taking the mic' here by try
