I know when you jailbreak you can download a little app that will keep WiFi on all the time. I cant remember the name, sold my touch a while back. A little looking through google and you should find it. It does drain the battery really fast though.

18 months, 265 cycles. Not good enough, simply put. Even IF I never calibrated it properly and didn't pay much attention to taking care of that (which couldn't be further from truth) this is not acceptable when you consider the apple a1181 chargerhine it comes with. apple a1181 charger 17 is great, but the only good thing about its (eventually and finally) bulging battery is that the trackpad seemed to come back to life soon after I took out the battery (as someone else had pointed out before!).I love Apple, but please please
This is impossible to put on the iPhone. There is no way to get the bubbles out. I would never recommend this item.
It's slim, lite, easy to use and easy to charge! Cons: I have to remove my case in order to use it, but I'd rather do that than lose battery life on my phone!If you're constantly on the move, I suggest picking one of these up. It's bailed me out on a few occasions!
