This case is for the first gen iPad, not the iPad 2. Thus the gap when laid flat and the lack of exposure for the rear-facing camera. Reviews are helpful but only when they are with the proper product and accessoriy pairing.
My wife loves this case. Uses it like a fashion accessory to match purses and outfits. It is a little more flimsy than I would like, but overall, seems like it will protect the iPhone 4S rather well.

An excellent new gadget for a 'silver surfer'! I bought it originally for showing photographs but I am amazed at the variety of functions it has - and am still finding out new things every day.
