I did a lot of research and thought these would be good. The metal backing is apple imac ramhined and it digs into my ear. This isn't too much of a problem if listening half an hour or less, but longer and it starts to hurt.
I hate screen protectors, they look crappy, and with a touchscreen they usually make your device suck to use. Bought it to connect my Sony MDR-EX71 headset to my new iPhone. Does not work. I get audio in the right ear but nothing in the left and the mic doesn't work. I tried two other generic headsets with 2.5mm 3-ring plugs and they didn't work either. This suggests the adapter doesn't work with iPhone 3G.

While it really did the job of making the iphone screen black from angles when other people might be looking at your phone, the screen was all bubbles. It was not flexible enough so that you can apply the sheet by the edge first and then pushing out the bubbles as you stick more of the surface to the phone. Great device! I have arthritis from clicking on mouse buttons in my right index finger... this helps me out quite a bit... battery life seems iffy though. But I love that I got this. I use it as part of my HTPC. Can't be used on a soft surface though. Which includes putting it on top of a mouse pad (Mine has a wrist pad so I wanted to rest my wrist on it).
