I got this speaker because the speakers on my Iphone just were not cutting it. Granted I could hear my music fine across a gymnasium one day while decorating, but for some reason if I set it on the back of the toilet I could not hear it from the bath (not shower, mind you). Coming as a PC user for many years I have been turned a bit to the apple ipad interface ways. I bought an iPhone last year and enjoyed it very much. I thought an iapple ipad interface might compliment it. I bought this as a family computer for the living room. Everyone loves it except my wife, she will come around eventually. I've owned this case for about 6 months now and it has held up ok. Originally, it was easy to get on and still fits snug on the phone. I keep my iPhone in my pocket a lot so as expected the black candy shell case has lot of little scratches now. But it's definitely better that the case is scratched up rather than the phone itself.
