It's small enough to fit in my laptop bag. The sound quality is clear, and a huge improvement over my Lenovo T61 built-in speakers. The volume is sufficient to be heard in a conference room of 30-40 people. It's perfect for a highly portable speaker.
Don't even bother, bought this for a kid and it had a mind of its own, freezing and not playing a full mp4 before switching onto something else, we was sent a 16gb instead of the 8gb and still didn't make us happy. Rubbish
