I think that the look and feel may get closer, but iOS is a touch centered OS, and OSX is geared for the Desktop, which to me is the right approach. The latest with Air Drop and iCloud, along with Air Play, makes it really easy to share and stream Content around the home. A complete merge of the software could result in the orphaning of thousands of OSX apps, not a good business plan if you ask me.The unified feel of it though makes sense.
PPC was very rarely faster then x86. More often it was on par, but seldom faster, and usually only briefly. People went on and on about PPC performance because they had bought expensive PPC systems.
The sound quality was good, but not as good as an older JBL dock that I had borrowed from a friend. The Philips was smaller, so I guess that's to be expected. At medium volumes it sounds clear. It's small form factor means that it is easy to find a place to put it.The spring loaded adapter mount fits my apple ipod insurance Touch 4th gen just fine, but it's annoying to snap the apple ipod insurance onto it. I think the theory behind the spring loaded mount is that it will hold a wide range of devices without a drawer full
This player is brilliant. I use it when I go gym or running. Its small and plays music which is exactly what I want it to do. Also with its Micro SDHC slot you can potentially take the storage up to 40gb which is more then enough. It sounds brilliant too. An excellent player all round and I would highly recommend it.
Used mostly for Graphics Design.
This case looks and feels great. It's lightweight and thin. Sometimes I don't even realize it's there. If your looking for bullet proof protection though this is not your case.
