I rarely write online reviews. But I splashed out $90 on these whilst on holiday in the US, and I have to say they are absolutely dreadful. The sound is akin to sitting in a cookie tin. While the clarity is good, there are just a whole host of mid and bass frequencies which don't come through or are very weak. However the upper-frequencies - the treble and very powerful and hence there's a complete in-balance. I absolutely would not have expected this for $90. Oh, in addition the iPhone remote

(Apparel) This screen protector is very sleek and stylish (I got the smoke color for my black iphone 3gs)and seems very durable, not at all bulky. It's a shiny hard silicone that imo fits the phone almost perfectly and doesn't attract lint or lets any debris in. Contrary to popular belief on here it can be used with a screen protector with very minimal bubbling in the corners. This is an awesome little boombox. For the sale price I was blown away by the sound. Its only downfall is that it cannot run on batteries, but when you have access to power it has got to be one of the best sounding portable units around!
