Excellent product at a great price. It does precisely what it says on the tin, namely that it protects the iPad in two ways. It provides an outer skin to keep a good hold. With the ipad's tendency to be slippery, the case cover is a godsend, if you don't want to drop it! Secondly, the cover also provides protection from the odd knock that will occur in everyday use. I love this cover for my MPB! The color is like an eggplant purple. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because while all the plugs are still available, the charging plug can only be used from one side. If I try to plug it in the other way, the case gets in the way. But it won't kill me... I can still charge it with the case on, and that is what counts.The case was beyond easy to "install".
