I'm no audiophile, but I thought for the money, and compared to the junk Apple provides, these were just great. There may be some that a apple notebook computershine has pronounced better, for 3 times the money, but who cares? I want something that stays in (these do) and sounds good (these do) and that doesn't cost more than I paid for the darn Shuttle in the 1st place (these don't). Nuff said.
When I was in the Apple store buying this, I kept asking myself "why am I spending £56 on a mouse?", I thought I was crazy.I've had the mouse a couple of days now and it's been in constant use; it is comfortable to hold, has a solid high quality feel to it without being heavy and cumbersome. The swipe features are almost intuitive and it is so nice not to clutter up the desk with cables.Expensive yes it is, but buy it anyway, you wont be disappointed.
