I've been waiting for this sort of thing for a long time. So what if you can't use a case? That's probably a good thing, since you don't want your iPad hardware burning up inside that extra layer of plastic while it's charging. It's always nice to have your iPad stand up while it's charging. Maybe in the future, you would be able to pull the 30-pin connector and an extend-able cable out of its groove so that you can view your iPad in both portrait and landscape.For the people saying that its too
These speakers are SO worth the money. I drive a fire engine in Afghanistan, and now we can actually hear some music when we are out and about. I honestly have to turn it down sometimes because it is too loud. The rubber bumper holds my iPhone just fine. If you complain about these speakers, then you just have no clue what bang for the buck means.
I use this and my apple touch phonebook Pro and keypoint to highlight parts of my lectures in class and to introduce other material, even what the homework is that day. I connect by book to the TV in the room and use keypoint with a remote. My kids are amazed. It's much easier to get and keep their attention than it is with just writing things on the chalkboard...which I still do as well at times.

Pretty much what I expected, but the one I got is a little tight fitting. Covers the buttons and does the job though.
