I agree that it is inappropriate to consider this an iPAD docking station. It's fine for at and t sim card for iphone g3, iPhone, or iTouch but far too small for the iPAD.
So far i love the iHome iA5. It has great sound and makes a good alarm clock. One thing i dont like is there is no remote for it but thats not a big deal But when i bought it there was a "coupon" in the box for a remtote but the site said tht remote didnt exist. I got this item at Costco a couple of months ago and have used it steadily since then. My old LG bluetooth earpiece bit the dust when the over-the-ear portion snapped off.
