I have read somewhere (sorry) a review of a thin MSI netbox with the Broadcom BCM970012, which wasn't good in terms of 1080p and Flash playback. There is a new (better?) version called Broadcom BCM970015 announced recently (and certified for Pine Intel). Additionally, we need an available HDMI connector to have a useful upgrade, I think. Both are scarce at netbooks etc. Most netbooks with HDMI already has an ION chip or so.
But sadly, I did not. First, there is no way to configure a center mouse button click, which disappointed me immensely. I use a center button to initiate 'Spaces' all the time and not having this function was a real bummer. You can configure the right (or left) button click to initiate Spaces, but you would lose the ability to get context menu items (regular right-click.) the mechanism that retracts the wire back is ok. You have to retract it carefully make sure it doesn't get tangled up. For such a cheap price, this is a good and useful product. I'm a mechanical designer, I'd know. To get a better retracting mechanism requires lots of time investment for design, you'd be shelling out a lot more $.
I've had my best iphone docking stationBook for nearly 4 years, and the battery is doing fine. 824 cycles and I still get 2-3 hours use. Battery health is 87-90% and I'm sure it helps to let the battery fully discharge and recharge as often as possible.
