OLD MODEL I only listen to spoken word, so the lack of an expensive screen appealed to me. But the only volume control is on the ear phones, so it is useless in the car. The one switch control is awkward. Yes, it is cheap, but not worth it until they get a better design.

Ive got the White Ipig! and lets just say its the best little thing ive ever brought!!! the sound amazing! the look amazing! the speakers amazing! the length of wire amazing! you can see my point! Usually when you buy a docking station this small, its got rubbish sound, or it just blows the speakers when having your music up! this little pig gives you quality load music! and also some bass if you want it!!! All i can say is BUY ONE!!
My husband loves it. The sound is great and everyone can hear him clearly. He can even talk with the car window open. Only down fall is his phone (Motorola E815). It is not completely compatible, so if he walks to far from phone or or shuts both off, he has to search to reconnect. But the quality is worth it.
I have owned one of these for about nine months. I would agree that this is a necessary component, but for the price, I would not expect an adapter that can hardly stay secure. Also, the wiring inside has already degraded to the point where if I don't keep it completely straight, my screen is tinted very yellow.
