I find the call quality to be great and people on the other end usually can't tell I'm on a headset. The rubber seals really block out external sound well. I have had my best speaker ipodBookPro since January 2008 and the battery is shot, despite careful use. I now have to use my best speaker ipodBookPro plugged in to a power socket, but having read the reviews of the rechargeable battery, I have decided not to buy one. Instead I will pretend my laptop is a desktop!! Apple need to do something about the battery life of their products.
