If you live near and Apple store it might be worth your while to give it a test drive. I was seriously considering this mouse so I went to my local Apple dealer and spent 30 minutes with the mouse. That was enough to convince me I didn't want it. I may be beautiful to look at, but ergonomically it is not comfortable to use. In particular I couldn't get used to the sharp edges. I guess you have to rember the golden rule "what you pay is what you get"... the item burned out on the 4th day...
