I think kids of today won't know what an Etch-a-Sketch is, any more than they know what a rotary dial phone or an 8-track stereo is. Only those of us who grew up in the 70's will be pleased, though. I love it!

danamarsh - more specifically, the ipad 2 is god's gift to the average consumer tablet mankind. People shouldn't compare the 2 devices, they are aimed towards different segments of the market. Ipad 2 will rule the consumer segment for about 7 more years at least. All the bells and whistles which (maybe don't) fit - I am unconvinced of the usefulness of viewing pictures and video on something this small. I received the purchased items quickly. I used one immediately and it was fine. I just took out the second to try it and it didn't work at all. The plug that goes into the phone is defective, in fact is missing it's tip. I wrote to them and they are sending a replacement at no cost.
