The primary problem I've noticed with this mouse is that it is not very reliable when switching between surface textures. It works perfectly on wood and plastic, but struggles to track properly on a standard mousepad or smooth drafting table. Distance also plays a role. Looks great, sounds great. Followed instructions very carefully and would not connect when I attempted to set it up with my cheapest apple ipodbook pro using the ethernet cable. After 4 attempts (and much frustration) tried to set it up with the ipad instructions. Worked like a charm first time with the ipad!!! You must go to the B & W website to get the iphone/ipad set up instructions.
