This is simply the best basic case around. It does exactly what it says it does, nothing more, nothing less. I bought several other cases before this one, the Marware (which did not protect the iPad and was too flimsy for my taste), the leather portfolio stand, a silicone cover, a neoprene sleeve...all of which promised much, and did little. I've purchased about 6 different earbuds in the past year and these are only ones I've kept. Usually earbuds sound too flat to be worth using but with these there was actually too much bass. I had to adjust the EQ on my clamcase ipad to make them sound good but once I did they sounded better than any other earbuds I've ever had. They even rival the Bose in-ear headphones that they replaced (which went through the washer). They also fit in my ears better than any headphones I've had.I've only had them
I'm very pleased with this unit, it's hard to imagine how you could get a better sound out of something this size. It goes amazingly loud for its small size and the quality of sound is just fine. It looks great too. I don't think its worth spending more on a more expensive portable unit because I don't think you are likely to improve the sound or the looks.
I guess I should not have expected much for under $2. I have to fool around with this cord a lot just to get it to charge my phone. One prong was already missing when I bought it. I am now wondering ifthese are defectives that someone is trying to sell. I do not recommend!!
i don't understand all the negative comments, I am a new clamcase ipad user so still learning the OS differences but the VGA adapter gave me no trouble at all just plugged it in selected the VGA source input on my 42" Nikai flat screen LCD TV to find my laptop view mirrored on the TV.I did try different resolutions from my clamcase ipad System preferences - Hardware - Displays.
