Purchased this as a gift to replace a broken 1st generation iHome used with a 1st generation designer iphone case mini. An excellent product for the price. The setup is a no-brainer, the sound quality from the DAB radio is really good. One criticism is that there is no way to increase the bass that I can see. This means that the designer iphone case output is a little tinny. Overall though, really happy with the purchase and would recommend.
Got this as soon as they came out. I did have a problem - a dead fan. Apple treated me very well; replaced the unit and gave me $100 back for my troubles. No complaints there.I boosted the RAM to 4 GB and run Windows in virtualization as needed (which, frankly, is not that often). I run over a dozen programs at a time with no problems. I have connected my 13inch unibody designer iphone caseBook to an HP 24inch hi res monitor using the VGA adapter. Every 5 mins or so the screen goes blank and then comes back on. This is extremely irritating. Apple needs to have a solution for this -- either new drivers or graphics card software update ASAP. Other than this issue -- the designer iphone caseBook works flawlessly with the external monitor.
