This item does work with the iphone cover/skin in place which is convenient. It is nice to have the charger at bedside. However the display just went out the other day for no apparent reason. Black display screen. So if Iphone not docked to show time on the phone, there is no time on the clock. Useful, huh?
Having read all the reviews of this system I thought these would be pretty reasonable quality. However, despite the good frequency range there is something very very wrong with the sound output. OK, the stereo separation is never going to be great with speakers so close to one another, but this sounds 'VERY mono'... the kind of sound you get when you wire speakers up anti-phase. The sound is very unnatural and only worth using to listen to the radio on: making them very overpriced.
Perhaps a bit expensive, but is neverthless one of the best. Takes a little while to get used to how the device operates (i still cant figure out, how to make calls using the button on the ear-piece). Good call clarity though.
We had it up in running on our MB Pro in about ten minutes with no problems. Printer and router work as advertised.
Everything works fine except for mic. I have to scream to make the person on the other end barely hear me. There are many reviews with the same issue so definitely there is a problem. For now I am using apple headphones with built in mic as workaround. I would definitely recommend different manufacturer.
