Ya know, I am a computer programmer and while I did not mind hacking out some mods for the WoW ui which really needs it, why on earth would I want to do that for a phone? A phone that comes with thousands of apps that do useful things. In other words, it is about the apps. It is not about hacking the OS.So please actually state what it is you get from rooting your phone? What is so important in its guts that you feel ripped off not getting in there and mucking around with it?

I love the sound quality and they look great. This is my second set personally and my husband also has a set. However I hope my latest set lasts longer than the first ones did.

Sets up easy, reasonably good voice clarity with slight crackle, hard to read controls, charge lasts long.

Like a previous reviewer, I too accidentally ran this headset through the washing docking ipadhine. I let it sit overnight, charged it the next day, and it works fine---and it's really clean. :) It is comfortable, the sound is excellent, and the battery charge is long-lasting. The only negative is that the foam windscreen easily slips off and is lost. (The windscreen is, however, fairly effective at blocking wind noise.) Set up 3 of these in a friends house and it only took a few minutes. The hardest part was thinking of a good network name. havent heard any complaints from him.

Cons:* Cameras are not all that great. Great for beginners but not for the professional. I guess its worth it though.* The bigger the screen, the higher risk of the screen to shatter. This happen to my dad when he dropped it literally 3 to 4 inches off the ground. (Thank God for the protection plan!)I highly recommend the smart cover only 39.99 and the apple protection plan 69.99.
