I purchased this thinking it was supported on my iphone 3G. Unfortunately, the volume controls do *not* function with the iiphone, unless it is a 3GS. I hope you find this helpful and learn from my mistake. Apple makes great products, and every once in awhile, they have something small like this incompatibility slip through the cracks. I just wish they would be more open about it, and not find out like I did post-purchase.

Don't get me wrong, the IDEA of the wireless Magic Mouse is great. The ability to scroll with just the touch of a finger on its smooth surface is wonderful. Not getting hung up in a cord is terrific.
