first generation mac minis. those babies last a long time and withstand abuse. never had one break down on me and i've owned quite a few, desktops and laptops, since 1988. love them. wait, I take it back. my daughter, 1 year old at the time, broke my laptop's "neck". other than that, never had a repair, and I've had them dropped, pushed off tables, beds, sat on, had endless cat hair clog the computers, etc. oh and I make mine last 4 plus years before replacement. two thumbs up. oh and I love the genius
I probably will continue using my mighty apple mouse until expose and dashboard are implemented. I figured out that they were not part of the mouse after about 2 minutes of using it and I turned it off. The cool touch pad will not replace functionality in my; or from what I have seen online, many peoples homes. I hope an update of some kind will resurrect the functions soon because from what I see two finger swipes to turn pages is not worth giving up dashboard, expose and spaces operation. If n
The other is that on the earlier models, there wasn't an adaptor suited to the 5th Generation first generation first generation mac mini mini nano, so I had to use one of the others and use the 'wedge' that comes with it to support it from the back. The newer ones are fine and have the right adaptors.I took it to a party just the other day and everyone wanted one!!!!

I experienced the out of sync issues about 3-4x a day. What I've found works every time is going in to display preferences and changing the resolution down to 1280x800 and then back to 2560x1600. It seems to reinitialize the screen that way and fix it. Since that works it is probably a software issue and should be corrected in a software update. I'm hooked up with an aluminum first generation mac minibook to a Dell 3007wfp-hc.
Cons: you don't own one yetthis is my first ipad and it has easily become my best investment so far this year. i no longer have to carry my first generation mac minibook pro around for different things
