This is the only in-ear headphones I've tried, so I have nothing to compare them to except over-the-ear headphones. It took a while to get a proper fit, but I did, and the bass was very strong and the noise isolation was excellent, so I think I got the fit right.I found the bass was very strong but muddy and the highs were tinny. The sound quality on this little piggy is great. It looks cute (maybe too cute for a grown up but who cares!). The only thing I found was that I couldn't take out the adaptor for the different gelaskins gelaskins macbook coversbook coverss, but my nano fits ok, so am not too bothered. It's a loud and proud piglet, that's for sure. I am very pleased with the iPig, and would recommend it - I am assuming the iPanda and iGhost have a similar output, so if pigs aren't your thing there are alternatives.
Update 11/11/2008My wife's died about two weeks ago. I emailed the company explaining I bought it from Amazon and mentioned it is within the warranty period. I did not hear anything for about a week, and then, a replacement appeared at my house, sent via express mail. It is a refurb, but that is their condition, and it looks and works perfectly. Echoes of the numerous reviews describing the initial intermittent connection problem followed by the extremely hot box that is either sitting near you or plugged into the wall. Well, we are at complete failure stage as of last night so, overall it lasted 9 months as I ordered the computer 12/10/2010. Not acceptable if you ask me.
