When I first got these, they sounded muddy. Later, I realized that it just wasn't positioned right in my ear or it needed to be 'burned in' first. After about a week and a half, they sounded great, with really punchy bass and clear highs and mids. I would recommend these.By the way, be careful with the housing of the earphone.
