This article, and the ensuing comments are totally racist. Shame on you TUAW. We are a country of foreigners. There is no persuasion. Quit basing your observations on race and simply report the gray market and where it's prevalent. No need for inciting judgments on who the average American is or who should or should not be buying iPads.

Well, Louise, even my great-grandchildren (ranging in age from 8 to 1) have learned not to eat with their eyes! You'll miss out on a lot of great stuff if you let your eyes rule your brain! Even if you think something doesn't look good, just close your eyes and give it a try anyway -- you just might be pleasantly surprised!

The artificial intelligence on the iPhone understands when you even ask it indirect questions such as 'Do I need an umbrella today?" and it will understand that you are asking about rain. Also, it integrates iCal, SMS, and different apps, while pursuing one task. Example here, receiving an SMS, then checking iCal, then changing appointment time, then replying to the SMS, without having to use direct commands, example in the demo below from the launch keynote: http://www.youtube.com/watch?

This is probably the under 100$ earphones i ever used for more than a month ( I ve used sony, apple's free ones -I threw them out or donated). I usually use a BOSE around the ear headphone (120$) at home and a Barracuda high-end 5.1 (180$ ) gamin head phone with dedicated drivers for those 5.1 movies and DTS music. So, that's what I am comparing this to. My use: I bought this to listen to music while I work. Daily usage 3-4hrs.what I feel about this:Comfort: Very comfortable often don't even feel

It worked very well. I did have trouble getting the old, broken screen off, But I got the job done and saved $$$$$$$ over the APPLE Store! Just like New!

The boom was broken upon reciept. Would cost more to ship back than I paid. It was a waste of money!

I suppose you can spend a bunch more money for earphones but I don't see why you would want to. The JBuds produce clear, crisp sound and are comfortable enough to wear all day long. That's more than I could say for the default headphone jack ipod earphones. I love mine and am giving them away as gifts for Christmas and Valentine's and birthdays. People love them and I keep my mouth shut about how cheap they are. For just $20, you can't afford not to try these.

This is a good looking and great sounding radio. The reception is good on weak stations and the headphone jack ipod dock works well. The one complaint I have with it is that all the adjustments are ridiculously complicated, so much so that I have quit using the alarm function, and instead just use my I phone alarm, which, by comparison, is very easy to use. If there were a simple on off switch for the alarm and a simple procedure for changing time settings this would be a big improvement.
