Well, Apple lowered the power requirement for this keyboard to two AA batteries. And could have been better off keeping the three AA's and provide backlight keys like the hi fi systems with ipod dock book pro. After all its wireless and that would have been an improvement! Innovation? Not always better to be green for the headlines.
I bought one of those just before going off on holiday. I used it with my hi fi systems with ipod dock and another MP3 player in situations where I wanted background music without the hassle of wearing earphones and it was ideal - volume and quality of sound was extremely good for size of unit. I also used it with my laptop when viewing downloaded DVDs and this also gave an extra boost to the soundtrack. I would recommend it to everyone - it's tiny size takes up no space at all in your luggage or even your pocket.
Blue tooth devices are often sucky. This one is not. It holds a charger, has a strong signal with low noise and linked with my I phone easily. I have just started using it so I do not know how long it will last. The price point is OK but not special. It would be a bargain if it were 10% less costly. It it lasts 2 years, I will be pleased.
If you have been fighting the Mighty Mouse, and its stupid track ball issues... FIGHT NO MORE!!!! This pad is exactly the same touchpad that is on the new pros, and it feels amazing! I wouldn't recommend it for lots of click/dragging tasks, but I played with it in my local store for about 5 minutes, and was absolutely hooked!!! Play with it first, make sure it does what you want, and don't look back. Being the same price as the magic mouse, I would definitely recommend the trackpad for ease
(Doesn't support iPhone 4S) I was disappointed to say the least when a tried to place the case on my Verizon iPhone only to find out that I was sent a case for an hi fi systems with ipod dock! Not very good service at all!
