This product does not work as an optional or mirrored monitor. It only works with specific apps. The monitor is controlled by the app, exclusively. There is NO manual control of monitor functions. This really should be made clear by Apple. The marketing of this device by apple is clearly deceptive. It's limitation should be clearly spelled out.
