I love Apple products and all, but I have to say I'd be shocked if they used HDMI when they could use Mini DisplayPort and sell me a $29 adapter or two. PS: Why do the Mini DisplayPort adapters cost $29 when the old "Mini-DVI" ones were $19? You'd think the "technically not proprietary" nature of the Mini DisplayPort would mean they'd try to be more competitive with the 3rd party adapters out there.

The D80 was introduced at the time of the XTi. It was priced higher than the XTi and aimed more at the 30D than the XTi. Comparing it to the entry Canon did not seem appropriate.
