I got this for my son's laptop. He had purchased one that looked right, but was for a different model laptop. This one works for the Apple Mini DisplayPort, but it only works for that exact name display connection. There are two different connectors on Apple laptops, and they use different VGA Adapters. I am pleased that I got this headphone at the same time that Apple came out with iPhone OS 3.0 and didn't need to use the dongle. Sometimes I experience breakup in the connection (listening to books while bicycling), but overall, the sound quality is very good and is easy to pair. They could be a little more comfortable, not bad, but the connecting wire feels a bit big for my smallish head.
