So I have had them for about a year and one speaker is already blown out and I rarely blast my music. The padding comes off easily and eventually the plastic lining so they become very loose in the ear. I love the control, which is the only reason why I prefer them. This adapter is awesome. Works as advertised. Let me say again iPad 2. I hooked it up to the projector in a conference room and could view everything on it. My buddy has an iPad (original) and not so good. He couldn't get anything to be viewed except videos.

I purchased this more in hope because of the low price but it is pretty powerful for its size. A quick twist expands the size to improve sound quality. The instructions are tiny for my eyesight but you don't need to know much to be honest! There is an on-off switch which illuminates a blue light when on and a volume control and that is it. The usb connector charges the unit and there is a jackplug. You can also buy additional units and string them together. Good value for money. Recommended.

The instructions with the package are really quite poor. They could do a better job at making sure you go to the video to see a demonstration. Fortunately I read enough reviews to know this ahead of time and installed the protectors without a problem. Didn't really see the point of the side protection pieces. I did put one piece on to protect from the dreaded antenna attenutation problems, but it made the stainless steel look dingy, so I took it off - wasn't having much antenna problem anyway. T
