Can anyone please recommend some kind of handheld electronic wordprocessor?

I;m afraid I really know nothing about these handheld thingys. I;ve of course heard of an ipad battery recharge and ipad but that;s about as far as my knowledge extends. Do these things do wordprocessing? If so, are they any good? I simply want a convenient unit to write with instead of constantly resorting to buying countless notebooks to carry around with me. The entire purpose of this forum is a REVIEW of this phone. With this said I MUST commend Apple and Verizon on building a fantastic phone that is virtually flawless. They took the original iPhone 4 and made it RIGHT. People purchased this phone for what it is not for the unexpected. I'm happy with what this does for me, mainly because it does what the ad says it does. I can't understand people who aren't happy because the adaptor doesn't do what they had assumed, hoped, or wished it might or could do. It does what it says it does, end of story.
