How to remove deeper scratches from an ipad music to ipod?

I have an ipad music to ipod touch (as if that really matters) none-the-less there is a scratch on my other wise perfect screen. The only distinguishable feature of this scratch is that it reflects light making it have the color spectrum appear on it, mostly just pink and blue color. (I assume because of the LCD properties of it.) I;ve seen several homemade remedies such as the banana trick, but those generally only help smaller surface imperfections. How can I clear space on my ipad music to ipod without deleting songs?

My ipad music to ipod is a nano. I have already cleared all of the videos off of it, but it is again full. I have a 4GB and my ipad music to ipod is full, only holding about 810 songs. I was under the impression that 4GB held more than that. What can I do? I don;t have enough money to buy a larger ipad music to ipod, and most of the songs on my ipad music to ipod aren;t on my computer, so I am unwilling to delete them. clear the photos, podcasts, everything except songs. you better buy a new one, sell that old one and replace it with new one. :) Yo
