Airport utility has difficulties to login to the airport express using "manual" or "continue". Best alternative File->Configure other and enter IP address + Psswd. Based on early reviews I've seen, I was hesitant on ordering this. But I'm glad I did as it works well. v1.2 of the iPad software seems to have fixed some of the reported bugs. Stand-alone harddrive formatter also failed using USB mode but worked fine using ESATA. I formatted and used both 2 1/2 inch 320GB laptop drives and 3.5 inch 1TB drives.
works as advertised. Very impressed with the speeds. Not quite 200mbit, but still better than the XE 104's i purchased two years ago. Cons: Unfortunately they are not compatible with my Netgear XE 104's. Also, with one input, it limits the amount of devices i can hook up. I have a blu ray player, directv reciever, and a wdtv media player downstairs that i like to link to the internet and with this device, i can only pick 1 (or purchase a switch to share the connection). the XE 104 have 4 in
