I found that the earplug socket into the main unit was very loose, and could easily fall out. I tried this with several earplugs and the problem remained, so I am certain the problem lies with the MP3 player and not the earplugs. Added to this, the earplugs needed to be positioned very accurately so that sound could be heard. Don't buy this cover. There is elastic on the both sides. Elastic quality is very cheap. You can't trust on this cover. When you look first time, it looks OK but after couple of days side elastic ripped off.

I had been eyeballing this thing for a while, but I didn't have an iphone. I received many compliments for this cover. Great especially when you are traveling or if you keep you ipad sd card slotbook in your backpack. Initially, I only purchased the case to protect the bottom of the computer from damages. The fact that you can see the Apple logo thru the case was a good touch. I am still looking forward to replacing the top with a personalized gelskin I ordered but I will still you the bottom part of the case and add the top part when I travel for extra protection.

Looks great, feels solid since it's just a chunk of aluminum. Keeps the minimalist aesthetic of the apple gear on my desktop, and I can fit my external harddrive underneath for more efficient use of desk space.
