No. Only certain programs that have the correct output can be seen on the TV screen. For example, Netflix and YouTube can be seen. Most if not all of the apps cannot be viewed. I hope there will be a fix for this. I use "Dropbox" and have video presentations in it that I would like to be able to output to a TV. Dropbox does not suport whatver the required output protocol is, so I can only show presentations in that program on the iPad2 itself.

Like many of the others that have posted, I have to go purchase another one of these adapters. I have been extra careful to treat both parts of the adapter with utmost care but this didn't seem to make a difference...very frustrating. How can something as simple as a power adapter be such a problem??
