I bought this adapter in February 2009 and used it to connect my unibody ipad2 videobook to:1. Panasonic PT AE500 Projector2. Samsung 42" Plasma3. I am on my second battery and now have the bulge and the inopportune shut down problem again. After all the R & D with the new products one would think a battery that would not quit in fewer than 2 years could be developed. I love apple products and will not switch but I am disappointed.
