and m_coombes I agree with your points, but do I really need yet another device? No. I carry a phone and an iPad. I don't want to also have to carry a Kindle with me. The iPad is good, not perfect, but it is good enough for my needs at the moment. Anyway, the discussion is moot because a Colour Kindle does not yet exist.
This thing is excellent. Great sound quality, intuitive controls, extremely lightweight and clips anywhere you like. The micro sdhc slot makes this thing capable of holding up to 24gb of music which is great for such a tiny player. If you want an mp3 player just to play music then don't waste your money on anything else.
The device is incredibly easy to set up and is very portable. However, be aware it will NOT extend the range of an existing wireless network UNLESS the base router is an Apple. It will connect to other routers to stream music etc, but won't extend the wireless range.
This case is great for the money! It is actually really good quality and a real nice leather. I most like it because I can use it for my iPhone with my Incase Slider installed on it. Both work perfect together.
This holds the iphone in the ottercase very securely. Not chance of it falling out of the mount.only complaint is that it doesn't fit a 1" handlebar as designed -- I had to replace the screw with a longer one. Easy to do, but I'm a little worried it is putting more stress on the plastic hinge than it was designed for. However, no problems so far. I'd check to see if they had one with a larger diameter mount, but this works very well with the ottercase, and is cheap.
