Bought this item after a recomendation. I was looking for a speaker to boost the output of sound that the i phone gives without constantly charging the battery like a dock would do. I have to say that i am very impressed. The sound quality is very good with deep bass and very little distortion if any on max volume. This is a beast of a case. Incredibly thick, I'm sure it will protect the iPhone well. However, it's far too thick for my taste, and I'll be returning it (the case is double the thickness of the iPhone).
