I have been using the Bose Companion 5 for 3 weeks now, Overall the sound is great, It is what you would expect from any Bose Audio System, it seems to make up the bright end loss that I would get from most other computer speakers and I do not find much EQ is required to get the desired effect. My only complaint is that the system does not work well if you have the USB Audio connection connected to a USB Hub, While connected to a 4 port hub, the audio would randomly mute, no sound output despit

Good for him. When "Star Wars The Phantom Menace" came out in 1997, I wasn't at the first of the line. I had a life back then too.On August 24, 1995, watching people in line and drooling over Windows 95, while listening to the Rolling Stones song Microsoft licensed ("(Can't Get No (Satisfaction)" I think was the title... oh, wait, it was "Start Me Up". Sorry but the story coming from digitimes is simply not true. Motorola Mobility answered these claims in CNET today saying that DigiTimes' claims are "not accurate." They also stated production will continue beyond June. I can't say I'm shocked that the story is false though. I mean they cited "unnamed, upstream suppliers" as their source. Yeah that's just flowing with reliability. Anyway, here's the official statement from Motorola via CNET:>s.cnet.com

So, here is what us Tech Savvy folks with our iPads should do:NOT SUBSCRIBE to Rupert's new daily. That would be anathema. He can't peddle crap and lies and then try to peddle this stuff also.If you want us to buy your stuff, then sell us the truth, ALL OF THE TIME through all your mediums, not some of the time.

Correct, nothing is free!!

I purchased this for my Wife at Christmas and although it wasn't the most expensive present I got her for Christmas, she was over the moon with it.
