The dock works and the construction seems solid. It is a flat black color but it all looks nice together. It doesn't fit with my ultra thin case but it's okay. The weird thing was it came in actual apple packaging. Pretty sure that's illegal but for that price I'm not complaining.
Don't buy this... I didn't like the micro usb connector vice the Apple ipod touch leather pouch connector but bought it anyways because I needed the juice at the time. about a month later the connector is not acting up I have to mess with it just to get it to charge... something that could easily been 5 stars using a more sturdy mini usb or even apple ipod touch leather pouch connector... what a waste of time and money.
