The Apple VGA Adapter works seamlessly with my iPad 2. All the previous reviews no longer apply. I have my iPad 2 mirroring any and all applications using this VGA adapter. Of course, the only limitations (since it's a VGA output only) is no audio and depending on the screen, you'll get "black bars" on the left/right of image because the widescreen limitation can process correctly on most TVs or Projectors, but these are minimal. I bought this case for my iPhone 4. I really like the look of this case, best out of all the iPhone cases I have seen. I like the matte finish, I like how it feels in my hand, and I like its functionality. It protects very well. It does not interfere with the camera. It just goes really well with the phone.
If you use a Apple bumper case on your iPhone, this HDMI adapter will not work with it on. Kind of odd since the length does not seem to be any different than the other Apple adapters.
