Don’t really agree with this.Most people don’t care about specs (although it is dual core, and how many people use the camera on the iPad?), they care about UI and features. This offers most of what an iPad does, but at half the cost.The iPad isn’t dead, of course, and Apple will still sell a lot of them. What a neat concept, cute, soft, rolls up is discovered and connects reasonably well. But, a really big BUT, keys randomly don't work. They just stop responding. It is not always the same keys...often it is the Q, A, S, Z, X and D other ties it is the P, O,, L, K and some numbers. Turn it off, restart, rediscover and/or connect and it works for a little while then poof missing letters. No amount of coaxing recovers them. repeat procedure. Frustration and time waster. This is my first docking station and well worth the money. I think it has superb sound and is very light. It can be used with batteries or cord and when the AC cord is used it will charge your classic mac drives drives. I find a wide range of volume and very full sound. It comes with a rather useless bag for carrying it, the bag will offer almost no protection except for the lightest scratches and certainly no protection from any bumps. Overall, its just ok. It makes the lightweight iPhone heavy and super bulky. Another thing that I don't like is that its a pain to remove. I wish that it was a little slimmer so I could fit it in the dock. I have to take it off completly to put it on the dock at night.
