We bought this for my 92 year old Mother who is hard of hearing. She kept the volume on her TV up so loud that we couldn't hear what we were listening to. I figure if a 92 year old can operate these with no problem they must be good. We did check them out for sound quality and ease of use ourselves and we are very pleased with them.
Usually Apple products are the best but these don't live up to the usual standard. I've owned three pair and all three have quickly become unusable. The main thing was the light grey rubber surrounding each earphone falling apart and coming off. They didn't stay in my ears very well even with the rubber intact and when that goes they fall right out. I purchased the item shown with the plug turned sideways so that the charger would easily fit on a powerstrip without taking up multiple slots. The item that I received was a standard plug that I could have ordered for a few dolars less from the same company. So, don't waste your money one the more expensive plug because they won't send you the right one anyway.

So I went for this because a friend of mine has a speck and when I asked her about this she said she had one and loves it.I love the white about it and I feel my phone is plenty protected..But.....It is a bit heavy/bulky, my earphones don't fit into the hole, not enough room (they are $100 buds) and when charging, you really have to force it in.. But like I said, my phone feels plenty protected which I guess is what counts mostly.
