Bought this to replace a 4GB mini which failed after 4 years service. Looked at the 16GB mini first but decided to go for capacity and very glad I did- I can have my entire CD collection in my pocket. Got a set of Sennheiser 300s and volume and sound quality are both fine - tho' I've not tried it anywhere really noisy yet, like on a plane. Really great piece of kit.

Tried this in lieu of the Pogo, which seemed to get pretty middling reviews. The Boxwave is poor. It has a tougher, more rubberized tip which in the abstract sounds like a good thing, but in reality makes it very hard to write with. The tip drags across the screen. Tried a friend's Pogo, and it's much better. I'll be getting one of those and hoping that iPad styli continue to improve and eventually get a true fine tip.

I bought this at Christmas time last year. After four months of owning it, it no longer works. The sheathing around the cable where it meets the connector started separating about a month ago.
