I love to use this when travelling, since hotel rooms often have far too few available power ports. I prefer this model over their 3-port "travel" model, because the USB ports offer more power to charge devices. Unlike the 3-port model, I can simultaneously charge my iPad 2 and my iPhone 4 with this model. I have never bothered to use the mounting screw it comes with, and I have never had a problem with it.
I have had my MBP 15" 2011 for 2 weeks now and just started to notice that the adapter is overheating. I've tried different outlets at work and home and it seems to be pretty consistent. I hope Apple steps up and does something about this. These things have to be recalled.
