I have purchased a number of these as once I have one, it seems to migrate to one of my daughters cars. This is both the best one I've purchased and the least expensive. I use it with both an mini dvi to hdmi cable apple and an Ipad.

Bought a mini dvi to hdmi cable appleBook Pro four years ago and have never had a problem with the adapter. Eventually the old adapter broke, which is understandable after 4 years. Had to purchase one of these new designs and am now on my third one in 6 months. That's $240 I have had to spend in sixth months just for a power adapter.
